Lead2Deed Privacy Policy
Last updated October 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Lead2Deed LLC ("Lead2Deed," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Lead2Deed website and software at app.lead2deed.com and related pages (the "Service"). It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Two kinds of information
- Account information is about you and your users as our customers, such as your name, email, and billing details. We decide how to use it, as described here.
- Customer Data is what you put into the Service about other people and your business, such as contacts, leads, clients, listings, transactions, documents, and notes. Customer Data belongs to you. We process it only for you, to provide the Service, and as described here. If someone wants to see, correct, or delete information that an agent or team stored in Lead2Deed, they should contact that agent or team. We will help our customers respond to these requests.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account and profile details: name, email, phone, company or team name, brokerage, default state, profile photo, password (stored in encrypted, hashed form), and settings such as time zone.
- Billing details: your plan, billing history, and payment details. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We receive limited information such as the card brand, the last four digits, and the expiration date. We do not store full card numbers.
- Customer Data you enter or import: contacts and leads (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, birthdays, notes), lead sources, listings, transactions, commissions, tasks, checklists, documents, and uploaded files.
- Messages you send through the Service and messages you send to us, such as support emails and feedback.
Information collected automatically
- Log and device information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, dates and times, and errors. We may use the IP address to estimate a general location (city or region) for security and to show local data.
- Email events: whether messages sent through the Service were delivered, bounced, or marked as spam, and unsubscribe requests.
- Email link clicks: when someone clicks a link in an email sent through Lead2Deed, we record that the link was clicked, when, and the IP address and browser used, so the sending agent can see the click.
- Cookies and similar tools (see Section 6).
- Signup source: how you found us, such as a marketing link or campaign code (for example, "utm" tags).
Information from others
- People who fill out forms you share through the Service, such as open house sign-ins, seller net sheet requests, or lead capture forms, become part of your Customer Data.
- Payment status from Stripe.
3. How we use information
- To provide, run, maintain, and support the Service.
- To create and manage accounts, process payments, and send receipts, trial reminders, and service notices.
- To send the emails, reminders, and notifications you set up.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse (for example, with reCAPTCHA at signup), and fix bugs.
- To understand how the Service is used and improve it, using aggregated or de-identified information where we can.
- To send you news about Lead2Deed. You can opt out at any time.
- To follow the law and enforce our Terms.
4. We do not sell your data
We do not sell personal information or Customer Data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use Customer Data to market to your contacts.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only as follows:
- Service providers (subprocessors) that help us run the Service, under contracts or terms that limit their use of the data:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): hosting of servers and databases, and email delivery through Amazon Simple Email Service (SES).
- Stripe: payment processing and subscription billing.
- Google: reCAPTCHA (spam and bot protection at signup), Google Tag Manager and analytics (site usage measurement), and Google Fonts on some pages.
- Web push services (such as Apple, Google, or Mozilla, depending on your browser): only if you turn on browser push notifications.
- Your company and team. Administrators and brokers on your account can see the account's information and Customer Data, depending on their permission level.
- People you choose. When you send an email or share a link, report, or net sheet, we deliver that information to the recipients you choose.
- Legal reasons. When needed to comply with law, a subpoena, or court order; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lead2Deed, our users, or others; or to enforce our Terms.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that deal, subject to this Policy.
We may list or change service providers from time to time. We will update this page when we add a new category of provider.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tools to:
- keep you signed in and remember your settings (necessary cookies);
- protect forms against spam and abuse (reCAPTCHA);
- remember how you found us, such as campaign tags, for up to 30 days; and
- measure how our site is used (analytics).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and restricted access to our servers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information. You help by using a strong password, keeping it private, and controlling who has access to your account. If we learn of a security breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
Please do not store sensitive information in Lead2Deed. We ask that you and your users not upload, enter, or store Social Security numbers, bank account or routing numbers, credit or debit card numbers, driver's license, passport, or other government ID numbers, tax returns, health or medical information, or passwords for other services, for yourself or your clients and contacts. The Service is not designed to hold this kind of information. See Section 5 (Sensitive information) of our Terms of Service.
8. Keeping and deleting information
- We keep Account information and Customer Data for as long as your account is active, and as needed to provide the Service.
- After your account is cancelled or ends, we may delete Customer Data after 30 days. Copies may stay in backups for a limited time until they are overwritten.
- We may keep some records longer when needed for legal, tax, accounting, security, or dispute reasons (for example, billing records).
- Deletion requests: you can delete many records yourself in the app. To ask us to delete your account and its data, email lead2deed@gmail.com from the email address on the account. We may need to verify your identity. Deletion is permanent, so please export what you need first.
9. Your choices and rights
- You can view and update your profile information in the app.
- You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails using the link in the email. We will still send account and service messages.
- You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing lead2deed@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under state privacy laws. We will respond as the law requires and will not treat you differently for using these rights.
10. Children
The Service is for business use by adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Where information is stored
Lead2Deed is based in the United States. Information is stored and processed in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to the U.S.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we will give reasonable notice, for example by email or in the app.
